​Lonwabo Sambudla

Executive Chairman

Mr. Sambudla is an accomplished executive and businessman with significant experience in business consulting, property investment, development, corporate advisory, financial services, engineering, and telecommunications.

He is the founder and Executive Chairman of Impuma Group, an investment company with subsidiaries specialising in financial services, telecommunications, consulting, and engineering. He is co-founder and Chairman of Bayete Capital, a company operating within the property sector.

Previously, Mr. Sambudla was the CEO of Lembede Investments Holdings (LIH), which was the ANCYL investment arm, as well as the director of several companies.

​Mkasiri Msebenzi CA(SA)

CFO/Director

Mr. Mkasiri Msebenzi has had an extensive career in the financial services industry, fulfilling roles such as General
Manager Risk at The Home Loan Guarantee Company; Managing Executive at Comborero Consulting, CFO at
The South African Bank of Athens, Senior Finance Manager at Medicover Medical Scheme, and the Manager in
Structured Debt Finance at SCMB (Standard Bank).

In his current position as Group CFO of the Impuma Group, Mr. Msebenzi’s responsibilities include creating a
competitive business position for the company by fostering innovation and building a cohesive enterprise; positioning
the business for growth and profitability, as well as leadership through turbulent times; assessing enterprise risk and
implementing necessary controls; and improving the company’s business model and increasing its profitability by
introducing effective new tools and strategies.

Mr. Msebenzi completed his BCTA at the University of Johannesburg in 2000, his B.Com Honors degree at the
University of Natal in 2003, and received his CA(SA) qualification in 2004.
Mr. Msebenzi is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

Phakamisa Zonke CA(SA)

Head: Strategy

Mr Zonke holds various prestigious degrees, including a BSc in Mathematics, B.Com (Accountant’s Conversion
Course) and is a Chartered Accountant. He completed his articles at Deloitte during which time, he had the opportunity
to work at their offices in Chicago, Nashville and Memphis. It was here that he led Fedex Express Management Team
on SOX 404 readiness project in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.

He then joined Nkonki Inc. before venturing out and starting his own consultancy company. He then did Property
studies and joined Liberty Properties in Braamfontein to be in charge of Finance and Property Development in South
Africa. After this, Mr. Zonke fulfilled the role of CFO Consultant for State Diamond Trader before joining the Auditor
General of South Africa (AGSA) as a Business Executive for the Strategic Audit Projects Business Unit. He then returned
to the Property sector by joining Bayete Capital as Senior Executive.

Consequently, he has vast experience in various industries including financial institutions, diamonds and commercial
property industries. He is a member of IOD (Institute of Directors) and served as Non-Executive Director for some
entities.

Mkululi Dube

Director Operations

Mkululi has vast organizational management experience. He has worked in entrepreneurial organisations, taking
care of design and implementation of business, growth and sustainability strategies. Other experience relates to
management consulting including, program, client and commercial viability.

In his current position of Operations Director, Mkululi is responsible for:
• Strategy formulation and Implementation,
• Daily operations and general organizational management
• Heads the business development and sales initiatives

He studied vastly across a variety of disciplines to develop in all aspects of business and management.

Some of his qualifications include: Management Advancement Program (MAP) (WITS Business School), Executive
Management (DCI, USA); Operations Management (Stellenbosch University); Property Development and Investments
(University of Cape Town); Dip Communication and Journalism (CCOSA, 2004); BA Honours Degree (UZ)

Siyanda Vitshima

HR: Group HR

An accomplished professional that has been in the human resources and organisational design space for almost thirteen
years post obtaining a degree in Human Resources she is in progress with a project and programme certification.

Extensive knowledge of people management especially within corporate and international companies and in addition
also consulting to small and medium businesses.

Ms. Vitshima has led the people portfolio in Healthcare, insurance, hospitality, risk, government and now in Impuma
Group as the Head of HR.

Alan Tait

Head: Infrastructure and Facilities

Mr. Tait, Bsc Eng (Mech), is a senior executive with extensive experience in physical asset management, systems,
marketing, strategic business development and management. He has a proven track record of generating increased
revenue, enhancing the bottom line and reducing costs and growing business units through effective business strategies
resulting in long- term sustainable growth.

Alan has been able to achieve this as CEO, MD, Sales and Marketing Executive in previous positions in asset
management, healthcare, education, call center and e-learning companies trading in South Africa and across numerous
African countries. During the past 24 years his Asset Management experience has been in fixed asset registers, ERP
system implementations, preventive maintenance programmes and facilities management. Alan’s healthcare experience
has been in the fixed and mobile equipment, nursing optimization and general hospital management.

Danie Fourie CA(SA)

Programme Manager

Mr. Fourie is a chartered accountant with a professional career that spans more than 29 years within the audit and
advisory/consulting environment, of which 15 years was as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has been with
SDM Asset Management and Consulting for the past 2 years managing an asset and inventory management project
for one of our largest Public Sector clients.

​Heinrich Mundt

Programme Manager

Mr. Mundt is a Program Manager at SDM Asset Management and Consulting with more than 25 years’ project
management experience. He specializes in Project Management, Fixed Asset Management, Business Development
and Business Process Management which focuses on process improvement and evaluation of alternate service delivery
options for improving performance and delivery. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the asset (moveable,
immovable and infrastructure) management space. He has extensive experience of the local government environment,
coupled with in depth knowledge in the public sector at Provincial and Municipal government level, ensures that he has
a deep understanding of the challenges facing these sectors. His extensive experience in project management spans
international as well as local assignments where he has lead teams of consultants in delivering asset (moveable and
immovable) and infrastructure management solutions including financial and process improvement solutions for clients.

​Paul Mvuleni Munisi

Assistant Programme Manager

Mr. Munisi is a qualified Project Manager with Asset Management experience that spans over 10 years in both private and public sector. He is a forward-thinking professional, leader and coach that unlocks desire to excel in today’s fiercely competitive markets.

A qualified project manager, Paul thrives to create operating models that ensures accuracy and efficiency, through exceptional skills in project planning, risk analysis, project cost management, project scheduling, ethical internal/ external stakeholder management. Paul is a strong decisive leader and strategic analyst with proven track record in project ideation through to successful implementation.

I am a facilitator with vast experience in staff development programs, strong communicator and public speaker who has presented in sittings aimed at developing communities, individuals, and execution of employee development programs.

Ettienne Beyleveld

Head: IT Systems

Ettienne is the Technical Senior Manager at SDM Asset Management and Consulting with vast IT management,
software architecture and development experience.

He has been in the asset management and solution optimisation space for more than 20 years. He specialises in Fixed asset management, data analytics, solution design and software development.

In his current position his primary focus is process and system enhancement which includes research and development. He has extensive experience in DevOps, technical IT support and software development where he has lead teams of technicians and developers in the design and development of new software solutions as well as year-end support of clients on technical and asset/financial-related data requirements.

Ettienne has been instrumental in servicing and assisting an extensive list of client which includes: City of Johannesburg, City of Tshwane, Department of Home Affairs, Polokwane Municipality, Ekurhuleni Municipality, Eastern Cape Dept. of Education, Gauteng Department of Education, SARS, Northwest Provincial Government, The South African Post Office, Auditor General South Africa, Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), Netcare, Simba and Makro to name a few.

Theshnee Sinan

Head: Fleet Management

Theshnee has extensive experience in several of South Africa’s largest corporates, operating in industries across financial services, insurance, healthcare and telecommunications. She has a passion for clients and people, and has successfully blended these core passions into a compelling operating culture that drives exponential success for all stakeholders. Theshnee is a strong strategist, and her deep appreciation of the operational details enables her to quickly craft workable solutions to business problems and opportunities.

Theshnee has led (as Managing Director) one of South Africa’s largest fleet management entities. She has also served as President of the South African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, being the first black woman leader of this respected industry body. Her career in fleet management spans 12 years, during which time she oversaw the quantum growth of the business units under her management. Her empathetic approach to clients and people has enabled her to navigate challenging, and sometimes conflicting, problems. She has successfully supported businesses and government departments meet their complex fleet needs.

Theshnee holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Bond University (Australia).
